The Spring Road Business Association and the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce and Industry proudly present the 20th annual SPRING ROAD PET PARADE. Pets of all breeds and species may be entered. Show off your pet in the parade. Also, enter your pet in our Pet Trick contest immediately following the parade in the parking lot of the Silverado Grill. Don’t have a pet, but still want to be part of the fun? Ride your decorated bike in the parade! Enter your animal in the parade! It’s a day for fun on Spring Road!

 

The parade begins at AHLGRIM FUNERAL HOME parking lot at Spring and Vallette Roads, progressing north on Spring Road to end at the SILVERADO GRILL.

WHEN:             Saturday, May 17th –

                            11:30 a.m. - check in time at Ahlgrim's –

               Parade starts at 1 p.m. promptly!

WHO: ANYONE OF ANY AGE can enter their pet of any species or breed, their favorite Beanie Baby or stuffed animal, or they may ride their decorated bicycle.

 

We encourage families of all ages to attend for the Elmhurst fun-time spring event.  For the kids; Free bike decorating, free face painting free pet portraits, and a Moon Jump unit will be set up. All kids are welcome to play!

 

This year we are accepting donations for the Elmhurst/Yorkfield Food Pantry, either cash donations or non perishable food items.

Ribbons will be awarded in the following categories;
Most Obedient - Pet Best Dressed Pet **What Makes Your Pet Special
Best Groomed Pet **Oldest Pet - Most Original Pet Trick
** Only pets registered by May 12th will be eligible for these awards
